Retraining as a teacher following a 15-year career managing bars & nightclubs, Steve has developed a range of age appropriate lessons on alcohol & other drugs for Year 7 to Year 13 pupils, supporting schools in the effective delivery of a specific part of their KS3, KS4 & KS5 PSHE curriculum. Steve’s background & eclectic mix of teaching, working specialist licensed events & sports coaching means the students see Steve as credible. This is reinforced by observing authorised drug checking services in the U.K & the USA.
Lessons are highly engaging, honest, relevant, well researched & continually updated, empowering pupils to make informed choices about their health & well-being without preaching- an approach students appreciate. Steve quickly establishes a relaxed, but professional atmosphere where questions can be asked freely without judgement.
